Artist Note
In a world where Artificial Intelligence (AI) is weaving itself into every aspect of our lives, the significance of handmade artistry becomes even more profound. This realization isn’t just for art enthusiasts but extends to the artist and everyday individuals alike.
Imagine a world devoid of art, music, or literature. Unthinkable, isn’t it? While AI can generate images, compose melodies, and string words together, it does so by processing existing data. It cannot truly create something unprecedented or replace the depth of human thought and emotion.
Living in a world which is this fragile, for me, art is more than a visual experience; it is a raw, personal expression of the emotions and thoughts that shape my inner world. My creative process is extremely intuitive. I embrace the fluidity of rolling, squeezing, and layering paint, letting the medium lead the way. There is no pre-planned outcome, only the act of surrendering control, something quite unlike my nature. And yet, isn’t that the truth of life itself? No matter how much we try to control our circumstances, events take their own course. We adapt, evolve, and learn to embrace what unfolds.
I believe that in this moment of surrender, one discovers their truest self, free from rules, expectations, and judgment.
My journey as an artist began with an exploration of textures, but over time, I have moved toward minimalism, allowing the essence of my work to shine through. Beyond colors and canvas, it is often the spaces in between that reveal the deepest truths. I strive to spark meaningful conversations through my art, inviting viewers to engage, and connect on a personal level. Art, to me, is a dialogue, transcending borders and cultures, inviting stories to unfold beyond the act of mere existence.
On a personal level, I am married, and together, we are raising our little girl.
